Jon C. Roberts
Jon Carroll Roberts, 88, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Buckingham South under the care of Hospice of Savannah. He was the son of the late Harry L. and Carrie Mae Roberts, and was born in Guyton, GA.
He graduated from Savannah High School and later attended the University of Houston, in Houston, Texas. He worked at Anderson Clayton & Company in Houston and later in Atlanta, GA for thirty-two years.
He was preceded in death by his partner of forty-six years, James C. Rhodes, his three brothers, Harry Lee, of San Diego, Sammuel C., of Savannah, and Knowles R. Roberts, of Dayton.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at Whitefield United Methodist Church on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Dr. Grover Bell officiating.
Remembrances may be made to the Diabetes Association, Hospice of Savannah, or charity of donor's choice.
